WOW it’s been a quite some time since I even looked at this blog – mind you it’s also been sometime since we did any Model A touring. One of the drawbacks of living in the Great White North, the touring season is short and the winter is LONG.
This winter has felt especially long. Maybe its old age sneaking up or maybe it was just a long winter. Our last tour was to Stratford in October and since then the A has been up on stands in the garage, keeping nice and toasty and dry with the heater going. Glenn has gone out on occasion to crank and putter and do whatever guys do with their Model A’s.
All that being said, we are getting an early start to the season this year ... YIPEEEE. In 20 days (March 19th) we head off to the MARC (Model A Restorers Club) 2011 Membership Meet in St. Augustine Florida. On the way we are going to spend a few days in Charleston, SC touring the area in the A and on the way back a few days in Savannah, Georgia and Hilton Head. So warm weather here we come.
I am pledging to do my best to keep the blog up to date on our travels, most hotels should have WI-FI so before turning in for the night I can write a few words and post a few photo’s.
