HWW Chapter BBQ at Cyril's - September 11th 2010

A reasonably good turn out for the chapter BBQ at Cyril's this year and nobody was disappointed. As always Cyril was a gracious host and welcomed everyone to his new "barn". Hmmmm barn does not seem the appropriate word to describe the new out building he has made. As you will see from the photo's that speak much better than any words I can make, he has decorated it with his cars, and of course his taxidermy and movie works. The kitchen was nicer and better equipped than my home kitchen, the bar fully stocked and tables set up for guests to sit back and enjoy. Everyone enjoyed wandering the property, looking at the cars, lots of great food, desserts and even a little bit of dancing :-) Boy you are a hard group to get up on the dance floor ... sheesh!!!

On a personal note, highlight of my day was starting up the Viper, wow what a great sound that engine made and then being passenger while Glenn took us for a ride up Durham. Zero to 320 in ??? We don't know, we didn't go that fast, even though Cyril offered to take me out and get it up to 320 - I may on a race track but not on Durham Road *laugh*
