Well here we are in Ithaca New York. The mileage on the a now reads 58930, which means so far after 4 days or our 14 day trip we have complete 533 miles and at the risk of jinxing things the A has run perfectly.
OK now I am really going to jinx things, the weather has also been perfect, not a drop of rain has fallen since we crossed the border. Perfect Model A weather, top down and my nose looks like Rudolph but with the lovely sunglasses ridge. From now on pictures are prohibited!!!!
I guess I need to work backwards, we had a wonderful drive today from Geneva to Ithaca. The roads were quiet, not too hilly, the weather perfect and we drove through some wonderful towns like Auburn and Aurora, lots of history especially to do with women's rights and the civil war. I shall get the photo's posted as soon as possible. We found the perfect little gem of a place in Aurora, nice patio, good ice cream and SHADE, much welcome shade.
This evening we had a great meal - little neck clams (a first for me), my scallops were very tasty with my favourite grilled asparagus while Glenn enjoyed Macadamia crusted Mahi mahi. The setting was perfect, on the water, on the patio. After our meal we went up a lot of hills to Cornell university. What a beautiful campus full of a mixture of old and modern buildings, high up on a hill. Again a perfect night for a Model A drive.
Well my battery is dieing now, I'm going to go plug in and will continue in a little bit.
