It’s been a long time since I’ve rock and rolled – but even longer since I’ve blogged. My apologies this is defiantly been “one of those years” and it continues.
We have had some great club events, tour to Neustadt, which I was hoping to write about but now I can’t remember it *laugh*, inspection day and some good day trips around Simcoe, to Unionville etc, but sadly the A now has a problem.
Bad Babbitt!!!!!! As shown in the picture above this is one of several pieces that have dropped out while Glenn has been changing the oil. Apparently this is NOT good as everyone who he mentions it to says “oh oh” I hate “oh oh’s”, nothing every good comes from an “oh oh”!!!!
This means that we are going to be a trailer queen in French Lick as we have been advised not to drive her other than onto the trailer. We are hoping that when we arrive at the MARC garage maybe able to help us out, but basically it means a new engine!!! Yikes. This is not a good thing for this year’s tour directors, especially when we have a tour the weekend after we get back.
Anyway, that’s the story of Babbitt – unless of course you don’t know what “Babbitt” is then I can give you a little lesson, as I now know more about cars, Model A’s, Ford, Henry Ford and engines than I ever wanted to know.
