Well here is the middle of January and the A has been tucked up in the garage for a few months now just waiting for the winter to end, the sand and salt to be washed away by Spring rains and the temperatures to warm up a bit – ok more than a bit – a LOT!!!
Glenn is tour director for the HWW Chapter of the Model A club this year so we are busy planning the 2010 tour season and hope that it will be as enjoyable as the past few seasons.
Christmas was good; Glenn got quite a few new Model A toys and paraphernalia that he is waiting to put into action in the Spring.
At our Main Club Christmas party we received the Driver of the Year Award for driving 10,059 miles in the 2009 season. WOW that’s a lot of “Model A Miles” . At our chapter Christmas party I was honoured and humbled to receive the “Chrome Crank” award for my contributions to the chapter. What a thrill this is the first award I have received with my name on it *laugh*
For those of you who also like to visit the chapter website, it has been updated with photos from the 2009 season, so please feel free to drop by and have a peek. http://huroniawirewheel.com
In the meantime, stay warm and we’ll keep you posted as the season draws nearer.
