What a beautiful day to see the Model A's out on the road and at Trillium Ford in Alliston for the Annual Inspection Day.
Christine and I arrived a little later, due to a busy day at Michael's wedding yesterday and the fact that we had to drop off some Tuxedo's on the way and of course pick up our "cups of happiness" - aka Starbucks.
When we arrived, inspection had already begun and cars were one by one making there way into the bay to be hoisted up for a good inspection of wheels, tires, brakes, exhaust system, wiring, fuel system and other doodads that make these machines run.
We also enjoyed a BBQ, well run by the ladies, of course I was on Onion Duty and now nobody will come close to me for days. Everybody seemed to enjoy the food, drink and socialization that goes along with the annual inspection day.
Christine and I left a little early to come home for a much needed nap, but when we left 27 cars had turned out for inspection day with # 17 being in the bay at the time.
A good time had by all, and many thanks to all those who volunteered without your help in the bay, out on the lot, collecting tickets, collecting funds, BBQing none of this would be possible.
Now, hopefully everyone is ready to "let the touring season begin"
